Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for assessing industrial machinery to ensure it meets machine safety standards and regulations. Identifies hazards, evaluates risks, and recommends safety improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform machine risk assessments
  • Identify mechanical, electrical, and control system hazards
  • Check compliance with machine safety standards and regulations
  • Recommend safeguarding and risk reduction measures
  • Prepare clear safety reports and documentation
  • Support engineers, operators, and audits
Requirements
  • Engineering or technical background
  • Experience with industrial machinery and safety systems
  • Knowledge of machine safety standards (eg, ISO, OSHA, CE/UKCA)
  • Experience with machinery safety, PUWER, and LOTO
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
