Machine Learning Specialist

Required Skills and Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in developing machine learning solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, XGBoost.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of ML lifecycle: data handling, model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Airflow, DVC, or similar.
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and software engineering best practices.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in NLP, computer vision, time-series, or recommender systems.
• Knowledge of data privacy and ethical AI frameworks (e.g., GDPR compliance).
• Experience with big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop).
• Previous experience working in highly regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, public sector).
