Job Description
- M365 Engineer
- Manchester - 2 times per month in the office
- £37,000 - £65,000
Our client in Manchester is currently on the lookout for an experienced M365 engineer where you will be designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing the Microsoft 365 suite and related technologies. You will also drive the successful delivery of M365 projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives
Main duties:
- Act as the technical lead for M365-related projects
- End-to-end delivery of M365 projects, including migrations (eg, Exchange to Exchange Online, SharePoint to SharePoint Online), configurations, and custom solution deployments
- Develop and implement solutions using the M365 suite, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, Entra ID and Power Platform
- Align M365 architecture with organizational goals and cloud-first strategies
- Maintain and manage the M365 environment, including tenant management, licensing, and service configurations.
- Administer security measures such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access Policies, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
Essential Skills:
- Proven hands-on experience of implementing and managing Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, MS Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive & Intune.
- Experience administering and managing Entra ID, including single sign-on (SSO) and Conditional Access Policies
- Experience automating M365 administrative tasks using tools such as PowerShell, Graph API and Power Platform
- The ability to write formal and informal technical and non-technical documentation accurately
- M365 Certifications such as M365 Fundamentals, Administrator Expert, Endpoint Administrator Associate, Messaging Administrator Associate & Teams Administrator Associate
- Excellent stakeholder management, customer service, organisational and problem solving skills
