M1/M2 Qualified Traffic Management Operative - Exeter

Our client requires Traffic Management Operatives in the Exeter area to carry out tasks such as setting up temporary traffic lights, manning road closures and using a stop/go board and other Traffic Management roles.

Successful candidates for the role of TM Operative should have:-

• Ability to work as part of a team


• Ability to carry out work to a high standard


• Good communication skills

Applicants must have:

• Lantra M1/2 and ideally an M5 (not essential)


• CSCS card (Preferred)


• Good timekeeping skills


• Willingness and flexibility to undertake some shifts out of normal working hours


• Willingness to carry out other tasks upon request


• Driving License (Preferred)

Hours of work:

Monday - Friday, days or nights.

Rate of Pay:

• £12.50 per hour


• Overtime at 150% after 40 hours Monday - Friday, nights and Saturdays


• Standby payments for being on call Monday - Thursday or Friday - Sunday

These will be PAYE positions so you will benefit from:

• Accrued Holiday Pay from day one


• Pension contributions (after a qualifying period)


• Weekly Pay


• Overtime at overtime rates


• No umbrella payments or fees


• Only Tax and National Insurance deductions and this will be shown on your payslip.
