We are looking to strengthen our Clean Water project team with a MEICA Delivery Manager, based in Burham. You will report to the Framework Commissioning Manager.
A MEICA Delivery Manager plays a critical role in ensuring systems and components are designed, installed, tested, and verified to meet project requirements. This position bridges design, construction, and operational performance. Below is an overview of the typical roles and responsibilities:
Roles of a MEICA Delivery Manager - Water- Project Leader: Act as the central figure coordinating MEICA and Commissioning aspects during Pre-construction phases, ensuring alignment between design and commissioning goals.
- Establish a Delivery Team to facilitate communication between Design Teams, Proposals, and the delivery team, ensuring relevant experts attend meetings.
- Inspect and coordinate survey works, update compliance and commissioning plans, and manage change control.
- Ensure procurement strategies are robust, with identified long lead items and expedition plans.
- Manage work sequences to understand project timelines, interdependencies, and key dates like procurement, installation, and testing.
- Oversee and validate design, resolve inconsistencies, support governance preparations, and understand temporary equipment and load requirements.
- Align process parameters with compliance requirements, including water quality and disposal.
- Develop commissioning strategies and plans, define KPIs, success criteria, and ensure deliverables are ready before handover.
- Assess project and compliance risks, and develop sequencing plans with digital tools.
- Champion quality processes, oversee documentation and testing, and ensure understanding of quality plans.
- Serve as liaison among stakeholders, coordinate system integration, and communicate regularly with project teams.
- Identify and mitigate design or commissioning challenges, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions.
- Ensure adherence to statutory, industry, environmental, and safety standards, and verify design and processes meet legal and contractual obligations.
- Identify training needs, brief teams on procedures, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
About You: Organize and prioritize work, manage commissioning within larger projects, identify risks, follow safety regulations, and possess proven HV/LV electrical/ICA commissioning experience, mechanical understanding, and water supply process knowledge.
