Salary: Up to £75,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
Hybrid: 2 days WFH per week

Our client is a small, family-run MEPH contractor founded in 2020. They deliver mechanical and electrical installation and refurbishment projects across both commercial and domestic sectors.
With project values reaching up to £600,000, the company is entering an exciting growth phase. Led by two hands-on Directors and supported by two experienced Project Managers, they offer a close-knit, supportive working environment where everyone's contribution is valued.
The OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced M&E Estimator or Quantity Surveyor to join a growing business where your input will make a real difference.
The role will focus on cost estimating, tender preparation, and financial management across a range of projects. The client is also open to considering an M&E Estimator who is keen to develop into a Quantity Surveyor role, with full training and mentorship provided.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical and electrical projects.
Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial control throughout projects.
Prepare tender documentation, evaluate bids, and support supplier selection.
Review and manage contracts to ensure compliance with company standards.
Analyse drawings and specifications to identify risks and opportunities.
Produce cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
Collaborate closely with Directors, Project Managers, and engineers.
Contribute to value engineering initiatives and cost-saving solutions.
Maintain accurate financial and project documentation.
Proven experience in M&E estimating and/or quantity surveying.
Degree (or equivalent experience) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
Good understanding of M&E construction methods and regulations.
Proficiency in estimation and project management software.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Salary up to £75,000, depending on experience
Hybrid working - 2 days from home per week
