It is an incredibly exciting time to be at this vibrant Primary School, located in the borough of Bexley! This modern, creative school are currently seeking a Lower KS2 Teacher to join their wonderful staff.
With a wonderful, newly-built school environment, which is spacious and inviting, the school's teachers are incredibly talented and hardworking and their pupils' smiles and love of learning make this school a very special place to be .
Dominating in modern facilities, their outdoor space is incredibly vast and has to be seen to be believed! On the grounds, they house two large sports halls; a delightful, spacious outside area for reflection; a dedicated, well-resourced music room and a kitchen space for food technology lessons. Still improving they are also moving their whole school library to a more central location and are in the process of developing a specialist art room!

Lower KS2 Class Teacher - The Role:
- Lower KS2 Class Teacher - experienced and ECTs welcome to apply!
- September 2025 - Permanent role
- Provide an engaging and diverse curriculum, which reflects the pupils' daily lived experiences and makes full use of the local community to enrich their learning.
- To give children ownership of their own learning and a role in planning a curriculum, which reflects their interests and questions
- Complete ongoing assessment for learning in line with the school's policies and training
- Support and provide a 'brain-friendly' approach based on what children need for optimal cognitive functioning, including growth mindset and learning through exploration.
- To provide use of 'in the moment' feedback and assessment for learning to move learners
- Work with a robust behaviour policy based on high quality relationships and mutual respect including an understanding of the zones of regulation
Mandatory requirements:
- Must have a degree and UK QTS (achieved in a UK institution)
- Up to date enhanced DBS
- Holds C and above in English, Maths and Science
- Creative individual able to bring learning to life
- A passion for providing a provision of equal opportunities in a diverse setting
- Confident, compassionate and energetic KS2 Teacher
- Experience of teaching KS2 in either work or placements
