Description Team Overview

The Low Carbon Solutions team focuses on developing and delivering sustainable, energy-efficient mechanical and electrical systems that reduce environmental impact and support clients' net-zero goals. By integrating cutting edge technologies and innovative design strategies, the department drives the transition to low carbon building services, helping Alternative Heat lead in environmentally responsible solutions while meeting evolving regulatory and client demands.

Role Overview

This role will assist in the development of proposals for a wide range of onsite and prefabricated solutions for the commercial sector.

This role will involve working directly with clients or our in house business development teams to obtain and understand the clients' requirements before engaging with our in house M&E design, BIM, estimating and contracts delivery teams to help pull together relevant proposals for same.

Hours Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm

Salary Competitive Depending on Experience

Responsible to Regional Manager of Low Carbon Solutions

What You'll be Doing

Lead project coordination by defining scope for onsite and prefabricated works, collaborating with BIM, design, and commercial teams to agree deliverables, develop proposals, and align costings. Engage with clients and stakeholders to review designs, ensure expectations are met, and incorporate low carbon, energy efficient solutions. Oversee the timely production of drawings and technical submissions, chair project meetings to monitor progress and manage risks, maintain key project documentation such as risk registers, report on progress, and conduct site visits as required while supporting overall project delivery.
