Are you an experienced Logistics Planner? Have you worked within a fast-paced manufacturing environment? If so, our client, a renowned automotive manufacturer, is recruiting for a Logistics Planner to join their site in Coventry. This role will involve ensuring the timely ordering and expediting of production requirements, whilst building strong working relationships with suppliers.

Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45
Friday: 08:00 - 15:00

Job Description

• Generate and maintain department-specific production schedules
• Determine raw materials and components required to meet demand
• Understand and analyse customer requirements to provide feedback to the sales department
• Analyse bills of materials for customer orders and new projects
• Plan and prioritise production to meet deadlines
• Carry out capacity planning
• Attend new project meetings

Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
