Logistics Manager

O'Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting a Logistics Manager for a new Commercial project in Darlington. The project is fast paced and we require a candidate with the competencies and relevant experience to fulfil the role.

• Manage all site activities and scope applicable to the logistic package.
• Manage the logistics team comprising of telehandler ops, hoist operators, general ops, gateman/traffic marshals.
• Ensure compliance with the fire, traffic and Health and Safety Management Plans.
• Chair Weekly Logistics Meetings with Site Managers and Supply Chain to ensure plans are communicated and coordinated.
• Ensure site diary is kept detailing events of the day, operations, operatives plant and machinery, any issues, weather etc.
• Ensure good housekeeping on and around site is maintained.
• Ensure sufficient supply of waste receptacles are in place for use by the supply chain.

• Experience working as a Logistics Manager for a mainconstruction contractor.
• SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid
• Excellent organizational capabilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication, supervision, and managerial skills.
