£400 - £500 per day Flexible Hours Independent Practice
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, independent small animal practice in beautiful Mid-Devon on a flexible locum basis.
This community-focused practice is seeking an experienced and personable Vet to support the team across a selection of dates throughout May and June. The role offers a varied caseload with a mixture of consultations and routine surgery, alongside the support of an experienced clinical and non-clinical team. Importantly, there is no sole charge required.
The Role- A mixture of consults and operations
- 15-minute consultations, with longer appointments for complex cases
- Routine and emergency surgeries
- Thorough medical workups with access to excellent diagnostics
- Preventative healthcare and client education
- Working collaboratively within a supportive and passionate team
- 9:00am - 6:00pm
- Hours are negotiable for the right candidate
3 days per week ongoing (Flexible days around candidate suitability)
Rate & Payment- £400 - £500 per day depending on experience
- All forms of payment accepted
This independent veterinary practice is proud to offer personalised patient care within a welcoming and collaborative environment. The recently refurbished practice is fully equipped with:
- Digital X-ray
- Ultrasound
- In house laboratory facilities (Idexx/Axiom)
- Access to visiting specialists
The successful candidate will work alongside a knowledgeable and supportive team of experienced Veterinary Surgeons, RVNs, ANAs, and dedicated support staff.
