Overview

Dream Medical is recruiting Occupational Health Nurses to administer the Flu Vaccine as part of a seasonal programme. The role covers England, Scotland and Wales, with clinics scheduled from the end of September to around mid-December. We stock approximately 25,000 vaccines and work with around 400 clients nationwide. Nurses will administer vaccines at a rate of around 16 per hour. A minimum of 3-hour clinics is available, with potential to travel between sites (25p per mile).

Responsibilities

• Administer influenza vaccines at clinics (approx. 16 vaccines per hour).
• Work in minimum 3-hour clinic blocks; travel between sites may be required (25p per mile).
• Ensure vaccines, equipment, sharps bins and related documents are available on-site in a temperature-regulated container.
• Adhere to Occupational Health guidelines and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• NMC registration and PIN.
• Occupational Health Nursing or Practice Nursing experience.
• Immunisations clinical update.
• Enhanced DBS issued within 1 year.
