LOCUM NURSE PRACTITIONER/PRESCRIBER DONCASTER URGENT £ £

About the role

We are currently recruiting a Nurse Practitioner Prescriber to work within a busy and friendly GP surgery based in Doncaster. The position is offered on a locum basis.

Responsibilities

• Work both independently and with other health professionals to assess, diagnose and treat patients.
• Provide professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues as well as training to other members of the team.
• Undertake and interpret a wide range of diagnostic tests, such as cytology, venepuncture, blood pressure, ECGs.
• See and treat minor illness.

Requirements

• Registered with the NMC.
• Independent nurse prescriber.
• Hold an MSc or postgraduate diploma.
• Minor Illness and/or Injury trained.
• V300 Independent Prescriber.
• Work autonomously.
• See patients of all ages - birth upwards.
