LOCUM GP BARNET URGENT TRADITIONAL SURGERY ££ in London North

Locum GP - Traditional Surgery - Barnet, London

Dream Medical is urgently seeking a Locum GP to assist an esteemed client of ours based in North London with shifts this December and going forward in January 2018. The surgery in question is a traditional practice, based in the heart of Barnet; close to local transport links. You will be joining a fantastic clinical team made up of other General Practitioners, Nursing and Administrative staff who cater to the local and surrounding community. The successful candidate will share their patient centred ethos and strive in helping to provide the highest quality of medical care.

The surgery is an EMIS WEB practice and prior experience with this system is essential.

Responsibilities

• Make professional, autonomous decisions
• Provide medical advice for minor injuries and illnesses
• Provide treatment for patients in need of immediate medical care
• Support other members of the clinical team
• Refer patients to other clinical care providers if required
• Work under pressure and within an ever changing environment
• Undertake a variety of duties including signing prescriptions, completing paperwork and conducting a home visit if required

Requirements

• Hold a full, clean GMC
• MRCGP (or working towards it)
• Be on a performer's list
• Be competent in doing possible home visits
