GP World have an amazing new GP opportunity located in Somerset within an Our of Hours service. The service offers a great continuity of shifts for ongoing locums who are in keen working across multiple sites across Taunton, Yeovil and other locations. The diverse patient population who present with a variety of medical and social needs, delivering innovative and sustainable care for all.

Shift Patterns: Various shifts from 6 - 12 hours a day

Days: Offers weekdays, weekends and overnight shifts

Rates: £90 - 110 per hour depending on experience

Start date: ASAP

Requirements

• GMC registration with license to practice in the UK
• On the GMC's GP register minimum 12 months experience
• Professional medical indemnity insurance coverage appropriate to role

Role Purpose and Skills

• Make autonomous clinical decisions, assessing and managing patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
• Maintain clear, accurate, and contemporaneous consultation records to agreed standards.
• Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards
• Manage the case list effectively to reduce demand on face-to-face services including ambulance dispositions, AEs and UCCs/MIUs and OOHs
