Locum Consultant Interventional Radiologist 6-12 Months

National Locums is working on behalf of an NHS trust based in South West England, seeking a locum Consultant in Interventional Radiology.

The Radiology department of an NHS trust in South West England is looking for a locum Consultant in Interventional Radiology to cover a maternity leave. The position is available to start as soon as possible for a period of 6-12 months.

This is a full-time role with core hours from Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, including on-call duties. The role involves vascular and non-vascular interventions. The proposed job plan includes:

• Biopsies
• Drainages
• Urology procedures - Nephrostomies, ureteric stents
• PTC's
• Peripheral and aortic vascular interventions
• Emergency and on-call work, managing sepsis and hemorrhage, including embolizations

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• GMC license to practice
• Full right to work in the UK
• Minimum 12 months NHS experience in Interventional Radiology
