Searcys are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Location Accountant to join our team. As a Location Accountant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our catering and client services, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial regulations. This role will be based in a B&I contract.

Salary: Up to £38,000
Job Description
Managing all financial aspects of a contract
Operating in-unit bookkeeping systems: Processing/querying daily purchase invoices and credit notes, daily reconciliation of revenues & takings, balancing cash office, calculating stock transfers between accounts, calculating waste reports, closing weekly accounting periods
Weekly paperwork submission to central office
Maintaining accrual-specific documents (free issue, beverages, agency, vending)
Delivering monthly, quarterly, and yearly client reporting suite for Cost Plus contract
Client stock reconciliation and reporting
Client-specific analytical reports
Preparing and posting monthly accruals and journals
Revising and submitting P&L statements
Issuing monthly client invoices with backup
Quarterly client reporting
Budgeting and balance sheet reconciliation for client and Searcys
Weekly payroll management
Management accounting experience would be preferred
Proven ability to work with and analyze large data sets
Experience in a multi-site retail business within a food service/catering environment is essential
A motivated, self-starter with an enquiring and proactive approach to work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be comfortable interacting across all levels of the business in formal and informal environments
