This is full time post, but we wouldconsider applicants looking for part time.

Main duties of the job

As a Locality Service Manager for the Herefordshire and Worcestershire WESTyou will be responsible for leading the ongoing development and expansion ofthe service in line with the national trajectory to provide emotional healthand wellbeing support to 100% of schools by 2030. You will work closely withthe Senior Operational and Clinical leadership team and oversee the operationalaspects of the service and take a lead on the expansion of the service.

You will form an integral part of the Herefordshire and Worcestershiresenior leadership team.

A demonstrable track record of CAMHS or transferrable skills in clinicalor operational leadership experience is a must. You will have experience ofsupervising clinicians and be able to evidence operational leadership skillsand abilities, as well as being able to gather, analyse, report and act upondata.

Person Specification Additional Criteria
  • Ability to travel independently across the county to meet the demands of the post
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to liaise across a wide range of interests and professions
Qualifications
  • Post Graduate Diploma in relevant Heath and Social Care field
  • Professional clinical qualification and current registration within a health or social care profession
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
Experience
  • Significant experience working within a health or social care environment (as demonstrated by 5 years post registration experience or equivalent)
  • Previous experience of managing
  • a health or social care service
  • Experience of developing and implementing contentious change management programmes
  • Working in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience of leading audits and clinical quality reviews
  • Experience of providing clinical supervision to staff
  • Experience of managing HR issues
  • Previous experience of supervising/managing multi-disciplinary staff groups
  • Experience of providing clinical supervision across different disciplines
  • Experience of providing management supervision
Knowledge
  • Knowledge of NHS or social care policy environment
  • Knowledge of Trust policies and procedures both clinical and organisational
  • Understanding of the performance and governance arrangements of the Trust
  • Knowledge of safeguarding children/vulnerable adults
  • Knowledge and experience of audit
  • Knowledge and experience of research and development
