Job Description

Vistatec's Strategic Programsteam has an opening for a Project Manager. This role involves a EuropeanTimezone support coverage as well as the development and/or execution of the diverse initiatives on the account with reporting back to the Production Team Leads & Production Operations Manager. This role requires a professional with a good problem-solving mindset able to shape and execute the assigned initiatives independently, as a part of a larger team or by leading a dedicated team towards the final goal.

Most projects are processed automatically from start to finish. Our goal is to increase automation where possible so we can focus on quality and strengthen relationships within our team, with our vendors and of course with our client. Our team works on managing exceptions, urgent requests and project clarification, as well as improving processes and tools for constant increased efficiency.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that the client receives superior standards of project management and customer service at all times
  • Delivering all projects on time and within budget in accordance with client requirements
  • Preparing proposals and quotations
  • Tracking and controlling all costs throughout the entire lifecycle of a project
  • Status reporting customized to clients' needs
  • Provision of business intelligence, quality & productivity metrics customized to clients' needs
  • Running project kick-offs and post-project analysis initiatives
  • Hosting conference calls between translators, reviewers, and other stakeholders
  • Working with clients, reviewers, and translators on quality improvement initiatives
  • Troubleshooting and helping to set standards and processes, continually recommending improvements to maximize efficiency
  • Central handling of queries and support requests
  • Capacity planning for internal & external resources
  • Interacting with linguistic resources, digital marketing specialists, and third-party stakeholders
  • Onboarding and training new resources and measuring their performance
  • Supporting clients in adopting and integrating AI tools into their workflows
  • Assisting other project managers with projects involving AI tools and evaluating their impact
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in localisation
  • Great communication skills in English and any other language(s) are a plus
  • Experience managing teams of offsite resources
  • Strong time-management, organizational, multi-tasking, and financial skills
  • Excellent client communication skills; ability to interact with multiple stakeholders at different levels
  • Strong risk forecasting, aversion, and management skills
  • Strategic problem-solving abilities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Quality-focused and customer-centric
  • Proven ability to deliver superior customer service
  • Familiarity with workflow systems (e.g., XTM, Phrase)
  • Interest or experience in AI tools and tech savvy

A minimum of 5 years project management and/or language quality management experience working in Localisation with fluent English level (spoken and written).
