Local Independent Practice Seeking Experienced OA

Are you passionate about eye care and delivering exceptional customer service? This practice in Greenford is looking for a dedicated Optical Assistant to join our friendly and professional team.

We are an independent optometry practice with a strong focus on clinical excellence. We specialise in Myopia control and Orthokeratology (Ortho-K), offering advanced solutions to help our patients maintain the best possible vision and eye health.

What You'll Do:

• Welcome and assist patients throughout their visit
• Book appointments and manage patient records
• Support dispensing of spectacles and contact lenses
• Help patients select frames and lenses suited to their needs and lifestyle
• Carry out pre-screening tests (training can be provided)
• Assist with patient education, especially around myopia management and Ortho-K
• Ensure the smooth running of the practice day-to-day

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience as an Optical Assistant (preferred, but not essential)
• Interest in specialist eye care such as myopia control and Ortho-K
• Excellent communication and people skills
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail and organisation
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role
