Opticians in Harrow Road are looking for an ambitious, qualified Dispensing Optician who is keen to progress into future leadership and management. This role is ideal for a commercially minded DO who enjoys fashion, sales, and taking ownership, and who is ready to develop into a senior position within the business.

The role You will deliver high-quality dispensing and styling consultations while playing an increasing role in the commercial and operational success of the practice. From day one, you'll be encouraged to develop leadership skills, support junior team members, and contribute to sales strategy and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate dispensing in line with GOC standards Provide confident, fashion-led eyewear styling consultations Drive sales performance through premium lenses, frames, and add-ons Support and mentor Optical Assistants and junior team members Take ownership of elements of day-to-day store operations Contribute to commercial decision-making and performance improvement Maintain high standards of customer experience and presentation

About you

• GOC-registered Dispensing Optician Ambitious, commercially aware, and motivated by progression Strong interest in fashion, styling, and premium eyewear Confident communicator with natural leadership potential Sales-driven with a proactive, can-do attitude Flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment
