Doist in the Liverpool area is seeking a Local Democracy Reporter who will cover the key business of Knowsley and Sefton councils, track political and social issues affecting communities, attend council meetings, and report promptly on decisions.

You will build contacts, explore issues, write features and, where appropriate, have work featured on the BBC Homepage and shared with local media partners.
