Job Description
Job Overview

A full time branch based opportunity working 35 hours per week at Lloyds and Halifax branches in the Burnley area. The role is customer facing, handling everyday banking tasks and providing face to face support to customers, including sensitive situations such as bereavement, fraud concerns and vulnerable client needs. You will also promote and support digital banking, help customers use online and mobile services, and recommend relevant products and services.

Salary: £26,200 per annum, increasing to £26,950 after six months. Working hours are 35 hours per week, including Saturdays. Flexible working options are available.

Responsibilities
  • Handle everyday banking tasks and customer queries.
  • Offer reassurance, guidance and practical support in important moments, such as bereavement, fraud concerns and vulnerable customers.
  • Promote and support digital services, helping customers use online and mobile banking independently.
  • Recognise opportunities to connect customers with relevant products and services.
  • Adapt to different customer needs and remain calm under pressure, showing empathy.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 12 months customer service experience.
  • A people person - honest, genuine and caring about helping people with their finances (no previous financial services experience required).
  • Ability to quickly build relationships to give customers a fantastic experience.
  • Passion for putting yourself in the customer's shoes, acting with care and integrity, and taking time to resolve queries.
  • Commitment to deliver on promises and to go above and beyond for the customer.
  • Genuine teamwork - collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure customers' needs are met.
Career Development
