Job Description
Job Summary

A part time branch based opportunity working 28 hours per week across the Lloyds and Halifax branches in Scunthorpe and Grimsby.

Working Pattern

28 hours per week, 5 days including three out of four Saturdays. The schedule is communicated four weeks in advance and may be adjusted to meet customer demand with prior agreement.

End Date

Friday 24 July 2026

Salary

£20,960, increasing to £21,560 after six months.

Responsibilities
  • Provide face to face support to customers in branches.
  • Handle everyday banking tasks and support customers during important moments such as bereavement, fraud concerns, vulnerable situations and digital banking confidence.
  • Promote and support digital services, encouraging customers to use online and mobile banking independently.
  • Identify opportunities to connect customers with suitable products and services.
  • Remain calm under pressure, adaptable and empathetic during all interactions.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 12 months customer service experience.
  • People oriented, honest, genuine and caring about helping people with their finances.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and deliver a fantastic customer experience.
  • Empathy, integrity and a commitment to resolving queries with care.
  • Team player who collaborates closely with colleagues to meet customer needs.
Career Progression

Upon completing a minimum of 12 months in a customer service role, you can progress across the Group into specialist areas such as Digital, Operations, Fraud, Financial Planning or leadership roles.
