Job Description
Job Summary

Full time, branch based role, 35 hours per week (including Saturdays). Location: Halifax Romford. The role may require occasional adjustment of hours after discussion. Salary: £29,920, increasing to £30,670 after 6 months. Flexible working options are available.
End date: Friday 26 June 2026.

What You'll Be Doing

Provide face to face support to customers in Lloyds and Halifax branches, handle everyday banking tasks, and give reassurance and practical help during important moments (e.g., bereavement, fraud concerns, vulnerable customer situations). Promote and support our digital services, help customers use online and mobile banking independently, and recognise opportunities to connect customers with the right products and services.

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 12 months of customer service experience.
  • People person: honest, genuine and caring about helping people with their finances.
  • Capable of building relationships quickly and providing exceptional customer experience.
  • Empathy, integrity and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • A commitment to deliver on promises and go above and beyond for customers.
  • Team player who collaborates closely with colleagues to meet customer needs.
Career Progression & Development

After a minimum of 12 months in a customer service role, you will be eligible to progress into specialist areas across the Group, including Digital, Operations, Fraud, Financial Planning, or leadership roles.
