A private family based in Mayfair, London are seeking a dedicated, experienced and nurturing Nanny to provide exceptional care for their three children ages 5-10. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional Nanny who is passionate about supporting children's development within a structured, engaging and positive home environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating and happy environment, ensuring the children's overall well-being while supporting their emotional, social and educational development. The role would suit a proactive, organised and flexible Nanny who thrives in a dynamic household and enjoys being fully involved in the children's daily lives.
Key Responsibilities- Providing attentive, sole and shared-charge care, ensuring the children's safety and well-being at all times
- Planning and organising creative, fun and educational activities to support development and learning
- Managing daily routines, including school preparation and bedtime
- Safely transporting the children to and from school, activities, and playdates
- Supporting the Housekeepers with the children's laundry, organisation of bedrooms and play areas
- Monitoring health and well-being, administering first aid or medication when required
- Maintaining clear and consistent communication with parents regarding routines, progress and development
- Minimum 5 years' professional childcare experience within private households
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Calm, patient and nurturing, with a positive and proactive approach
- Highly organised, adaptable and able to multitask in a busy environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player who works well within a private household setting
- 5 days on / 2 days off (rota-style schedule)
- Flexibility required, including evenings and weekends
- Travel may be required during school holidays
