Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 GPA (with possible salary review after the first year)

A wonderful opportunity has become available for an experienced and detail oriented Housekeeper to join a busy private household on a large estate in Bibury, Cirencester. The successful candidate will become part of a friendly and supportive housekeeping team consisting of a Head Housekeeper, Housekeeper and an additional part time Housekeeper.
The family are seeking someone who takes genuine pride in their work and prefers to complete tasks thoroughly and to the highest standards rather than rushing. This is a busy yet welcoming household environment where flexibility, teamwork, and a positive attitude are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities- Full housekeeping duties carried out to a high standard
- Daily cleaning, tidying, and organisation of the main residence and outbuildings
- Specialist care of antiques, marble, crystal, silverware, and delicate household finishes
- Laundry and ironing duties
- Assisting with seasonal deep cleaning and household organisation
- Supporting the wider household team when required
- Occasional ad hoc assistance during busy family periods, particularly at Christmas and during household events or parties (always discussed in advance)
- Assisting with the family dogs when needed, including occasional walking or washing
- Previous private household housekeeping experience preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and high housekeeping standards
- Knowledge and experience caring for fine furnishings and specialist materials
- Animal friendly and comfortable around multiple pets, including dogs and parrots
- Positive, flexible, and team oriented attitude
- Driver essential due to the rural location
- Trustworthy, discreet, and professional at all times
