Live-In Housekeeper - UHNW Private Residence
£40,000-£45,000 DOE Accommodation
Knightsbridge, London
Working Hours: Monday-Friday: 11:00am - 8:00pm
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 DOE
Accommodation: Live-in private en-suite room on lower ground floor with separate entrance and use of a kitchenette.
Starting: ASAP - the client will only consider candidates available ASAP or within a week's notice.
You will take full responsibility for the daily housekeeping of a five storey, six bedroom home (plus mews house and garage), maintaining exceptional standards throughout. This is a hands on position requiring initiative, organisation, and discretion. You will work alongside a weekend housekeeper to ensure seamless 7 day coverage.
Key Responsibilities- Full housekeeping: cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and maintaining a pristine home
- Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- Deep cleaning and seasonal organisation
- Managing deliveries, household supplies and liaising with vendors
- Occasional light cooking
- Supporting with pet care, including ad hoc dog walking if needed
- Maintaining discretion and a professional, hands on approach
- Recently relocated to London
- Occasional visits from family
- Newly set up household - you will establish systems and routines
- Five floors; lift does not reach top two levels
- Calm, composed and solutions focused approach essential
- Proven experience in a similar private household role
- High standards in housekeeping and laundry
- Organised, proactive and able to work independently
- Discreet, professional and confident in approach
- Comfortable with dogs
- Good English (French a bonus)
- Must be available to start a new role ASAP - the client will only consider candidates available within a week's notice.
