Overview

Live-in Caregiver
We are seeking compassionate and motivated individuals for our premium Live-in Care service. As a Live-in Caregiver, you will reside in the client's home to provide non-medical support, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. This role operates on a set 8-week rotation pattern (8 weeks on, 8 weeks off).

Key Responsibilities

Your duties are adaptable based on individual client needs and generally fall into three categories:

  • 1. Personal Care Assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming. Providing support for toileting and incontinence care. Supporting mobility, stability, and safe transfers.
  • 2. Home Help / Housekeeping Dusting, vacuuming, laundry, and maintaining clean kitchens/bathrooms. Nutrition: Meal preparation, cleanup, and food date management. Errands: Grocery shopping, accompanying clients to appointments, and pet care. Household Management: Managing bins, ordering heating oil, and updating care plans.
  • 3. Companionship Engaging in meaningful conversation and providing emotional support. Providing medication and appointment reminders. Taking clients for walks and promoting social interaction.

Essential Requirements
  • Experience: At least 6 months of recent, professional hands-on care experience (e.g., nursing home, hospital, or home help).
  • Legal Status: Must hold an EU Passport/National ID or a valid Stamp 4 visa (with at least 12 months validity).
  • Language: Effective English communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Background Check: Ability to pass Irish Garda Vetting and international police checks.
  • IT Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Teams, Forms, and other digital platforms.
  • Driving: A full EU driving license is highly desirable.
  • Language & IT: Proficiency in English and basic IT skills (MS Teams/Forms).
Application & Reference Requirements
  • Full Employment History: Including any gaps in employment.
  • Two Written References: One must be from your most recent employer, and at least one must be from a care-related role.
  • Referees: Must be managers or supervisors; references from friends or family are not accepted.
  • Irish Garda Vetting: All candidates must be able to pass Irish police vetting. International Police Clearance (IPCS): You are required to provide a criminal record check (police certificate) from: Your home country. Any other country where you have resided for 6 months or more.
  • Proof of Address: Valid documentation such as a Bank Statement or Utility Bill.

For a monthly gross of approximately €3,088.36, the estimated take-home pay is between €2,500 and €2,700.
