What you'll be doing- Case Management: Handling a diverse caseload of litigated motor claims (Property Damage and Personal Injury) through to settlement or trial
- Technical: Drafting and reviewing court documents, witness statements, and instructions with high attention to detail
- Strategic Negotiation: Driving commercial outcomes through robust negotiation and effective management of panel solicitors
- Accurate Reserving: Ensuring financial exposure is correctly reflected at every stage of the litigation lifecycle.
- Previous legal experience ideally within a motor insurance and claims environment
- Experience in dealing with personal injury would be an advantage
- Solid understanding of CPR, the MOJ Portal, and the litigation process
- Ability to provide clear, concise case updates to Andrew and wider stakeholders
- A proactive, "owner" mentality with a desire to sharpen your legal expertise in a fast paced environment
