We're seeking a hands-on Linux Systems Administrator to lead a team of sysadmins and support engineers. This is a rare opportunity to shape operations and strategy at the core of a world-tier financial platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a Linux infrastructure team (System administrators + support desk) supporting development, QA, and production systems.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, team scheduling, incident response, and performance optimisation.
• Drive systems reliability, scalability, and security across a complex, high-availability estate.
• Collaborate with Dev, Ops, Networks, and Product teams on cross-functional IT initiatives.
• Contribute to planning and resource allocation for infrastructure projects, migrations, and upgrades.

About You:

• Experienced in Linux systems administration (RHEL-based), with some leadership or team lead exposure or ready to move into a leadership role
• Knowledge of performance tuning, monitoring, patching, and hardening.
• Comfortable managing teams, prioritising tasks, and handling critical incidents.
• Experience in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, proactive mindset.
