Pizza Maker / Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Maker / Line Cook to join our team. As a Pizza Maker / Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas and a la carte items to perfection. If you have a passion for culinary arts and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

• Ensuring the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked.
• Ability to work a high volume pizza station with minimal supervision.
• Preparing simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
• Reporting to the executive chef and following instructions.
• Making sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
• Cleaning prep areas and taking care of leftovers.
• Stocking inventory and supplies.
• Cooking menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.
• And anything else as ordered by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Aptitude for multi-tasking.
• Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team.
• Pizza making experience is a must!
• Ability to start and maintain the fire in a wood burning oven.
• A keen eye for detail, time management and great customer service skills.
• Pleasant and friendly demeanor.
• Able to work as a team and independently.
• Flexible working hours.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
• Physical mobility and stamina.
• Ability to follow instructions.
