Responsibilities- The Lifeline Response Officer role involves demonstration, installation and monitoring of various technology, alongside responding to emergency calls as necessary.
- Work as part of a response team based at the Town Hall in a calm, caring manner, able to think dynamically in a fast-paced, busy environment.
- Be confident in the use of databases and Microsoft Office packages with a good understanding of GDPR to meet administrative duties of the role.
- Be approachable with a "can do" attitude and demonstrate skills such as encouraging, being organized, flexible and able to communicate effectively and compassionately to a broad range of audiences.
- Having a strong background in a customer-facing role with experience of working with older and more vulnerable people is advantageous.
- The shifts available are as follows: Monday 19:30-06:00 (10 contracted hours); Tuesday 19:30-06:00 (10 contracted hours); Wednesday 19:30-06:00 (10 contracted hours); Thursday 19:30-06:00 (10 contracted hours); Saturday 08:30-18:30 (9.5 contracted hours); Sunday 08:30-18:30 (9.5 contracted hours).
The position would suit multiple applicants as we could look at splitting the hours/working pattern to suit the candidate.
N.B: This role requires an Enhanced DBS check
