Job Overview

Job Title: Lifeguard - Location: Brockworth Sports Centre - Type: Permanent - Salary: £12.71 per hour.

Rota: A mixture of opens (from 6:45 am), closes (up to 9:15 pm), and weekends. Hours: 2 positions available - 1 26 hours, 1 27 hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control of the pool and ensure the safety of all patrons.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and carry out rescues and first aid.
• Challenge inappropriate behaviour and communicate effectively with customers who are not acting safely.
• Provide safe supervision of poolside locations.
• Work toward a regular rota pattern and pursue opportunities for career progression (e.g., swimming teacher, duty manager, trainer).

Qualifications

• National Pool Lifeguard Qualified or ability to pass the course.
• Calm, confident, able to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
