As a Lifeguard at the Marina Centre, you will ensure safe and enjoyable experiences for all guests. The centre offers an exciting range of activities, including a leisure pool with slides, splash zone, fitness suite, exercise studios, sports hall, and café overlooking the beach.
ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Lifeguard, you will ensure the best levels of service for our customers by offering friendly, clean and safe facilities.
We provide all training needed to become successful, including lifeguard training and coaching to improve swimming skills if required.
Qualifications- NPLQ qualification or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS check
- Competent swimmer - swim test will need to be completed as part of the interview process.
- Ability and understanding of how to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and also to all levels of staff.
- Well developed interpersonal skills.
- Team oriented approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of staff and colleagues.
- To be able to work flexibly and understand instructions from managers.
- Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.
