Life Practitioner

Position

Life Practitioner - Adult Residential Home - Tigh Cranntail, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire

Responsibilities

• Provide essential support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Assist them in daily activities to enable independent living.
• Accompany patients on community trips such as shopping, meals, appointments and outings.
• Use the company vehicle to transport people to community activities (must hold a full UK driver's licence and have at least two years of driving experience in the UK).

Qualifications & Experience

• Full UK driver's licence with at least two years of driving experience in the UK.
• A Level 3 in Health & Social Care or a willingness to work towards one.
• Strong team player with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Computer literacy.
• A genuine passion for care and motivation to help others progress.
• Resilient and able to ask for support when needed.
• Ability to work with people who have severe learning disabilities and complex needs.

Salary & Promotion

Salary starts at £12.71 for Level 1, £13.10 for Level 2 and £13.60 for Level 3. Experienced candidates may start at £13.60. Progression is available through the competency framework, unlocking higher hourly rates and career pathways.
