Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Greenwich

Remedy are currently seeking a Level 3 qualified teaching assistant to join a vibrant Secondary school based in Greenwich. This is a full time position to starting Monday 2nd June.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
  • Maintaining regular communication with the class teacher to monitor progress and EHCPs
  • Building rapport with pupils, parents and staff
  • Communicating with external agencies
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £100 - £120 per day, depending on experience
  • Hours: 8:30am-4pm, Mon-Fri, Term Time only
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience supporting children with complex needs and PMLD is essential
  • Team Teach training is highly desired

ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH REMEDY, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
