About the Role

Position: Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Hailsham, East Sussex

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Salary: £85-£95 per day (dependent on experience)

Start Date: Wednesday 2nd September

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 3-4 years in their learning and development.
• Deliver high-quality play based learning in line with the EYFS.
• Work closely with the class teacher and Early Years team to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Encourage children's independence, communication and social development.
• Observe and record children's progress, contributing to assessments where appropriate.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Help maintain a safe, happy and stimulating nursery environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Experience working with young children in a nursery or school setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Patient, nurturing and passionate about supporting children's development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to helping every child reach their potential.
