Aspire People are looking for a committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support targeted interventions within a primary school setting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with small groups and helping pupils boost their confidence and attainment.
You will play a key role in delivering structured interventions, particularly in phonics, reading, writing, and maths, helping pupils close gaps in their learning.
The Role- Delivering small group intervention sessions across KS1 or KS2
- Supporting pupils who require additional academic support
- Working alongside the class teacher to identify learning gaps
- Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to staff
- Supporting classroom learning when not leading interventions
- Encouraging pupil confidence and engagement
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience delivering interventions or booster sessions
- Strong understanding of phonics and basic numeracy strategies
- Patient, encouraging, and supportive approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
