Job Description

A specialist SEN school in Sunderland is recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism, learning difficulties and communication needs.

Location: Sunderland
Hours:8:30am - 4:00pm

The Role
  • Supporting structured classroom learning
  • Delivering small group interventions
  • Supporting communication strategies
  • Assisting with behaviour and engagement
Experience Requirements

Essential:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children

Desirable:

  • SEN experience
  • Knowledge of autism
Daily Structure
  • 8:30am start
  • Structured learning environment
  • 4:00pm finish
