About Your New Job as a Leisure Centre Manager

• Oversee the daily operations of the leisure centre, ensuring facilities are safe, clean, compliant, and running efficiently.
• Lead, train, and manage leisure centre staff, including scheduling, performance management, and ongoing development.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by enhancing guest and member experiences and resolving queries professionally.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, including pool safety, emergency procedures, and maintenance records.
• Manage budgets, drive revenue growth through memberships and services, and support sales and marketing initiatives.

What Skills You Need

• Proven leadership experience in leisure, fitness, or hospitality environments, with strong team management and customer service skills.
• Qualified in lifeguarding/pool emergency response and pool plant operations, with solid knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision making abilities, with a customer focused and financially aware approach.
• Additional strengths include first aid, fitness or personal training qualifications, and experience using membership or booking systems.
