Dromoland Castle Hotel, one of Ireland's most prestigious 5-star resorts, is currently recruiting a Full-Time Leisure Centre Attendant to join our dedicated and friendly team. This role will be Monday to Sunday working 5 over 7 days. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who brings strong experience and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about health, fitness, and guest experience to work within a luxury hospitality environment.

Overview of the role:
  • Support daily operations, including opening and closing the leisure centre
  • Perform safety and facility checks fire exits, security alarms, lighting, etc.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests and members
  • Assist guests with using gym and pool equipment safely and effectively
  • Perform routine and deep cleaning across all areas: pool, gym, changing rooms, reception, toilets, corridors
  • Supervise the swimming pool, ensuring customer safety in accordance with centre policies and safety codes
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
  • Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards in line with luxury hospitality expectations.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • A valid Lifeguard Qualification (or a strong commitment to completing lifeguard training)
  • Knowledge of pool plant operations or willingness to be trained
  • A positive, can-do attitude and strong people skills
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • REPs Ireland / EQF Level 3 Fitness Qualification or equivalent
  • Additional qualifications such as Pilates, Yoga, Strength & Conditioning, or HIIT
  • Pool plant operator certification
  • Experience in a similar leisure or hospitality environment
