Our clients are a formidable and well-regarded water management company with a reputation for providing high-quality water treatment, water hygiene and legionella services. They are now seeking an experienced and commercially focused Legionella Accounts Manager/Business Development Consultant to work in the Guilford area. The successful applicant will have experience in account/sales management, upselling services, developing, maintaining new, existing legionella accounts, and generating new business. Consideration will be given to applications from Basingstoke, Crawley, Guilford, Southampton, Alton and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience
  • The applicant will come from a strong technical, management, accounts, commercial, operational and consultancy background.
  • Experience carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines.
  • Experience generating new business and developing existing business ventures.
  • Experience managing new and existing legionella accounts.
  • Previous experience working in same or similar role within the legionella industry.
  • Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Managing new and existing legionella accounts.
  • Providing high level consultancy advice to clients.
  • Monitor, measure and report on all aspects of operational and staff performance.
  • Effectively manage staff performance and development.
  • Build and maintain a good relationship with a large portfolio of clients.
  • Other duties will include growing the business, achieving goals and targets.
  • Be flexible and versatile and have the ability to manage workload effectively to take the business forward.
  • Ensure good standard of paperwork, reports produced.
  • Plan and manage own workload to maximise use of time.
  • Sell services to new single and multi-site customers in accordance with sales targets.
