Job Description
Lead Talent Operations for a Prestigious International Firm

Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Senior Legal Talent Coordinator to take ownership of driving key talent initiatives across its high performing London office. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced coordinator or adviser looking to step up and take on broader leadership, strategic influence, and greater autonomy within the firm's Human Capital & Talent function.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, office leadership, and global management committees, you'll play a critical role in shaping the associate experience and delivering the firm's London based talent strategy.

The Role

In this senior role, you'll operate as a trusted adviser and key contact for partners, associates, and cross functional teams. You will oversee the smooth execution of core legal talent programmes, lead process improvements, and help drive strategic initiatives that support the development, engagement, and retention of the firm's attorney population.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Leading associate development initiatives, advising leadership on reintegration, performance considerations, and exit processes.
  • Acting as the senior point of contact for partners, associates, and new hires on all talent related matters.
  • Overseeing onboarding and orientation programmes, ensuring high quality training experiences for new hires and lateral associates.
  • Managing inter office transfers, secondments, and complex mobility processes, partnering closely with global business services teams.
  • Taking ownership of attorney related events, training sessions, and meetings - including setting strategic objectives, driving vendor negotiations, managing budgets, and ensuring high quality delivery.
  • Allocating work to unassigned associates and advising practice leadership on workload distribution trends.
  • Ensuring effective application of employment policies and guiding committees through approval processes.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with office managing partners, committee chairs, and global Human Capital leaders to influence and support strategic talent priorities.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and relationship building skills, with confidence engaging senior leadership.
  • Strong judgement, discretion, and analytical ability, with the capability to handle sensitive talent matters.
  • Outstanding organisational and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver results.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and comfort working with data, reporting, and workflows.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in legal talent, legal HR, or professional services, ideally in a large, complex environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders or managing high profile programmes.
