Job Description

Honeycomb is delighted to partner with a well-established local law firm in Carrickfergus to assist with the search for a Legal Secretary to join their busy Conveyancing team.

The Job

You will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to a conveyancing practice, working closely with solicitors on a wide range of residential and commercial property transactions. This role would suit an experienced Legal Secretary with a background in conveyancing who enjoys working in a client-focused, fast-paced legal environment.

Package/Benefits
  • Salary of £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience

The Role
  • Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Conveyancing team
  • Prepare, amend and manage conveyancing documentation and correspondence
  • Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, solicitors, counsel and third parties
  • Manage diaries, appointments and key completion and exchange deadlines
  • Handle telephone enquiries and provide updates to clients where appropriate
  • Maintain accurate file management, ensuring compliance with regulatory and confidentiality requirements
The Person
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience as a Legal Secretary
  • Previous experience within a conveyancing or property law environment is essential
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple files and competing deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently while supporting a busy solicitor and wider team
  • Professional, dependable and detail-focused
