Legal Secretary - Barnsley

Permanent Full-Time Circa £28,000 per annum

Our client, a well established and highly respected law firm based in Barnsley, is looking to welcome an experienced Legal Secretary to their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, professional environment where your skills and experience will be valued.

The Role

As a Legal Secretary, you will play a key role in providing high quality administrative and secretarial support to fee earners. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling client queries professionally via telephone and email
  • Audio typing and document production
  • Preparing and formatting court documents to a high standard
  • General office administration, including filing, scanning, and maintaining records
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and within required deadlines
Working Hours & Salary
  • Monday to Friday
  • Circa £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary or in a similar secretarial role
  • Strong audio typing and document formatting skills
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detailAbility to manage a busy workload in a professional environment
