Our client, a well established and highly respected law firm based in Barnsley, is looking to welcome an experienced Legal Secretary to their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, professional environment where your skills and experience will be valued.
The RoleAs a Legal Secretary, you will play a key role in providing high quality administrative and secretarial support to fee earners. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling client queries professionally via telephone and email
- Audio typing and document production
- Preparing and formatting court documents to a high standard
- General office administration, including filing, scanning, and maintaining records
- Ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and within required deadlines
- Monday to Friday
- Circa £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary or in a similar secretarial role
- Strong audio typing and document formatting skills
- Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detailAbility to manage a busy workload in a professional environment
