An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary to join my clients team working across 2 branches in Beaconsfield and Marlow. You will providing secretarial and administrative support within both branches. You will:
- Respond to client enquiries promptly and courteously
- Coordinate diaries and schedule appointments
- Keep clients informed on the progress of their matters
- Process client payments and communicate details to the Accounts team in a timely manner
- Stay up to date with client care and anti-money laundering obligations
- Open and maintain client files, ensuring all compliance documents are completed
- Provide audio typing support for multiple offices as required
- Prepare correspondence and draft legal documents
- Perform copy typing, scanning, and photocopying tasks efficiently
- Monitor office supplies and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Receive and distribute incoming mail appropriately
- Assist with marketing activities and initiatives
- Keep filing systems and office calendars organised
- Attend internal meetings and contribute to team projects
- Adhere to Health & Safety requirements in the office
- Assist with compliance-related tasks, including file audits and maintaining trackers
- Support equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in a Legal Secretary or similar role
- Have strong organisational and time management skills
- Have excellent audio typing and document production skills
- Have professional communication and client-focused approach
- Have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Be proactive and supportive team player
- Have strong IT skills including case management systems
- Have a high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Have the understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.
