Legal Secretary

Beaconsfield and Marlow office - Office based

Competitive Salary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary to join my clients team working across 2 branches in Beaconsfield and Marlow. You will providing secretarial and administrative support within both branches. You will:

  • Respond to client enquiries promptly and courteously
  • Coordinate diaries and schedule appointments
  • Keep clients informed on the progress of their matters
  • Process client payments and communicate details to the Accounts team in a timely manner
  • Stay up to date with client care and anti-money laundering obligations
  • Open and maintain client files, ensuring all compliance documents are completed
  • Provide audio typing support for multiple offices as required
  • Prepare correspondence and draft legal documents
  • Perform copy typing, scanning, and photocopying tasks efficiently
  • Monitor office supplies and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail appropriately
  • Assist with marketing activities and initiatives
  • Keep filing systems and office calendars organised
  • Attend internal meetings and contribute to team projects
  • Adhere to Health & Safety requirements in the office
  • Assist with compliance-related tasks, including file audits and maintaining trackers
  • Support equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in a Legal Secretary or similar role
  • Have strong organisational and time management skills
  • Have excellent audio typing and document production skills
  • Have professional communication and client-focused approach
  • Have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Be proactive and supportive team player
  • Have strong IT skills including case management systems
  • Have a high level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Have the understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.
