Legal Secretary

An established Bristol practice is seeking a Legal Secretary to provide dedicated support to the Director within its busy Criminal and Civil Law department. This is a pivotal role offering close involvement in case progression and day to day operational support within a fast moving environment.
Responsibilities- Act as the Director's primary support, managing diaries, coordinating court listings, preparing legal correspondence and documentation, and liaising with clients, counsel, courts and third parties.
- Audio typing, file management, billing assistance, document preparation and ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal procedures.
- Prior experience in Criminal or Civil Law is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong administrative or PA experience, highly organised, discreet and comfortable managing competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and confidence working independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; audio typing skills would be beneficial.
