Job DescriptionAs a Legal Secretary, you will provide essential administrative and secretarial support across the department. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and formatting legal documents, correspondence, and case files
- Audio and copy typing
- Managing diaries, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Handling incoming calls and client enquiries professionally
- Maintaining accurate filing systems and case management updates
- Liaising with courts, clients, and third parties
- Supporting fee earners with all ad hoc administrative tasks
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary (any legal discipline considered)
- Fast and accurate typing skills (audio typing beneficial)
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence using MS Office and case management systems
- A proactive approach and the ability to manage your own workload
- Competitive salary between £27,000 and £30,000.
