Corporate Team

Liverpool City Centre, office-based role.

Full time (5 days/35 hours) or Part time (3-4 days/21-28 hours) considered for the right experience

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant or Corporate Legal Support professional to join our Corporate team based in Liverpool city centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity within a market-leading Corporate practice, offering meaningful responsibility, exposure to high-quality transactional work, and the chance to support one of the most respected teams in the Liverpool city region.

The Role

You will provide administrative support to the Corporate team, acting as a key point of contact for colleagues, clients and professional advisers and ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a point of contact for colleagues, clients, and third-party advisers
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing client queries professionally and efficiently
  • Coordinating the administrative aspects of transactions
  • Diary management
  • Preparing client care documentation
  • Supporting file reviews and liaising with Risk & Compliance teams
  • Assisting with billing, WIP management, and aged debt
  • Updating internal portals and ensuring files are closed in accordance with firm procedures
Candidate Profile

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a comparable legal support role
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • The ability to manage competing priorities calmly and effectively
  • A proactive and reliable approach to work
  • Confidence using case management systems and legal IT
  • A sound working knowledge of relevant legal processes
  • Previous experience supporting a Corporate team or working within a transactional legal environment would be ideal.
